This is one of the greatest pictures I’ve ever seen.
Directed by my dear friend, Matt Lenski.

Hunting season is already upon us. Historically, the jackalope was considered a fearsome critter, but hunters discovered a clever way to catch these little creatures. They’d place a flask of whisky out at night, and the next day they’d find the jackalope merrily intoxicated making it easier to…
This is where I would like to be.

Some guys are so cool.

It takes some time to love Dylan, but it’s worth it, oh so worth it.
Our photo babe, Madelyn Kime, took this awesome panorama and had its spooky coolness printed onto canvases for both Kevin and I (he copies me). A little background from Madelyn:
“Heron Pond, part of the Cache River Wetlands, is a stark difference to the rest of the state’s Midwest flatland. Contended to be one of the most northern cypress swamps in the United States, the Cache River is part of the largest complex of wetlands in Illinois. The trees that flourish in Heron Pond are cypress and tupelo; the swamp is home to numerous species of frogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects.
Visiting Heron Pond in February, I was unable to experience the chorus of inhabitants of the swamps chattering back and forth, hidden in the dense foliage that on a summer day would surround hikers. Without the thick leaves and vines to obscure our vision, you could see the bare trees expanding for miles. Throughout most of the year, a green would hang over the swamp, amplified by the emerald duckweed coating the water, but the snow and ice magnified the rich red earth tones of the cypress bark and in contrast, the cold and silence lent itself to a beautiful calm standing at the edge of the boardwalk.”
Since it’s a panorama, I think I’m going to hang it over the headboard of my bed. Actually, I’m probably going to ask Madelyn to come hang it for me (along with all the other art that’s leaning against my walls) because I’m lame at stuff.
Find Madelyn’s prints in her etsy shop.

Aside from the skirt, this swimsuit is a dead ringer for the one the ladies of New Directions sport for ‘We Found Love’. We’re thinking that another version of the suit, with the flared skirt, exists but isn’t sold online.
EDIT: Pinup Couture has confirmed that the Hello Sailor Bettie is the swimsuit seen on Glee - it may have been a special order.
